The iPad 2 was announced today and it looks amazing! It will come in a black and white model, lets just hope they don't flake out on the white model like they did with the iPhone 4, I love the white one, it look so clean! The iPad 2 is way thinner (thinner then the iPhone 4!) and so much better looking then it's original older brother.

The next generation iPad (aka iPad 2) features: Apple A5 processor, dual core CPU, 2x CPU speed, 9x graphics speed improvement, Front and rear cameras for iChat and Facetime, Gryoscope, battery life of over 10 hours of usage and a month of standby time. (via BGR)

The iPad 2 is set to ship Merch 25, and will have both a Wi-Fi and 3G model. The Wi-Fi model will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB with prices at $499, $599, and $600. The iPad 3G, which will be for both AT&T and Verizon, will be available in the same sizes for $629, $729, and $829. (images via engadget)
